Q: How do I open these .torrent files?

A: You will need a BitTorrent client. I use Azureus, but any flavour will do.

Q: I've already downloaded some issues but my client shows they have no seeds.

A: There could be any number of reasons: you've moved the file/folder or more likely a new BitTorrent tracker is being used. If it is the latter, you will need to download the .torrent files for each issue, open them in your BitTorrent client and point the folder request to where your issues are stored. The BitTorrent client will then happily check the files and start to seed them. Hopefully the changing of trackers won't be a regular occurrence!

Q: Why did you choose BitTorrent over other protocols like ed2k (eDonkey/eMule) to distribute this project?

A: BitTorrent allows sharing of folders, eDonkey/eMule will only permit a zip/rar/etc. archive to be shared. This makes it impractical for people who want to share the project but also want to read it at the same time.

Q: I don't want to continue sharing what I've already downloaded/ I'm low on disk space!

A: Whilst it's not compulsory to continue sharing what you've already downloaded, it is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the files are much too big to be placed on a public server so this is the best way for me to distribute this project.

Q: How come the issues are released irregularly?

A: This is a one man project. I have a job and something that resembles a "life". Not to mention each page is scanned and heavily post-processed to make sure they are as good as possible for future reference, and this takes time. I have spare-time, just not enough of it!

Q: Is there a mailing list for this project?

A: Not at present. However, you are welcome to drop me an email or look out for announcements on the lemon64.com website under New Releases.
